The answer to a very common question asked when first introduced, was never a short one for our founder, Jigisha Turakhia. She was born in India, did her schooling in Zambia, returned to India to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies and then came to the United States to pursue a career.
She started her career in the Information technology field and quickly realized that while excelling in her field, she was always intrigued by the impact the technology she was providing was having on her client’s business. She strived to understand their business better, understand their problems and find solutions. This ability to bridge the gap between technology and business, was her biggest asset.
After having worn different hats as an employee – developer, team lead, delivery manager, project manager, account executive and business development, she decided it was time to be in the driver’s seat and launched her own business, IQ Business Solutions.
Her vision is to build a business that maintains integrity, that believes in doing right by the customer and gives back a little something to the community. Its reputation is and will continue to be its biggest asset.
IQ has been serving clients across multiple industries – security system providers, textile manufacturing plants, chambers of commerce, electrical parts distributors, private equity firms etc .
